Yixin.. this is for you. CAREER 2005
I went to the career fair with only ONE purpose, that is to find more information about Curtin University of Technology. =)
I found what i wanted and got even more information out of it. hehehe.. anyway, just in case you think you would be wasting your time there.... NO. you won't be. There are alot of information flying around awaiting for you to grab it. TMC, James Cook, NTU, NUS, SMU, SIM, MIS, MDIS, Stansfield College, Singapore Accountancy Academy, SIS, SIC... so many to choose from.. even foreign institutions are there.. and if you are looking for a job.. wOohOOo.. lots of opportunities for you there too..
If you feel really confused about your future, go there and have a look.. Altho i know some of you may have already applied for Uni but it nv hurt to go down and maybe get to find something that might really interest you. =)
well for me, i am going to do Marketing and PR at Curtin Uni. But there are lots more to choose from..
Under the School of Business; Bachelor of Commerce.
- Marketing
- Management & Marketing
- Finance & Marketing
- Marketing & Public Relations
- Advertising & Marketing
- Accounting & Marketing
- Accounting & Finance
gawddd... i am looking at Ad & Mktg and Mktg & PR.. wOOoOoohoOooo... which is it? should i just stick to PR? what's Advertising all about? *frowns*
I asked Daddy.. he told me to choose myself. bahhh...
anyway, there are 24 units to take.
If i do full time, i can take 3-4 units per trimester (cos there are 3 breaks in one year.. still unsure about this). which means i can complete faster...
If i do part time, i can only take 2 units the most and they are all evenign classes, 7-10pm. and i will be finishing in much slower...
oh yar, the kind lady told me that i can be exempted from certin units.. And i am guarantee a place, just the number of exemptions i will get. lalalalalala...
there are 3 intakes a year; March, August & December. I am aiming for March 2006. Which means i got to apply in Jan. nods nods.
And the fees; for my first year units, it's A$680 x 8units. for my 2nd & 3rd year, it's A$1310 x 16units... this is provided i don't go to Perth to do my last semester. hehehe.. if i do go, it's A$1800 per unit. not including my accomadations and stuff...
Each unit has 8 classes that i will to attend. Each class is 3 hours.
And their new campus is at 30 Prinsep Street. NTUC Income Prinsep House. No more at Pasir Panjang Road..
erm.. is there anything else that you want to know?
