bored. almost to death.. i got no idea why i rushed down in a cab for nothing. really.. had tis bad feeling about taking a cab to school wasted $8 on cab fare for nothing. :/
i have been sitting here from 9.30am.. now it's 1pm. what a waste of time.. if it's not becos of the director's meeting at 3pm later, i would have gone home. Luckily, my lappy is here with me. wahahhaa... still bored tho.
whole morning, my grp mates went for breakfast, two of them went to collect vb.net from home, i was downloading my jdeveloper for my project use.. after 1 and a half hours... now i am extracting which is like taking more than 5 min for a 250mb file!? freakkkkkkk... so slow.

oh yar.. becos of the lack of the equipment, i was in the 2nd slot, 1.45pm-2.30pm.
then after the test.. it's home. hehehe.. and now, i am in the living room using the lappy. oOhhh.. i am so proud of my wireless network at home. and i am soo grateful to my aunty for getting me this lappy. =)))

right now.. i am quite unsure of what will happen after i grad in end sept. i know i will be working but to go back studying.. i dunno. i would love to take up the MIS-Curtin-Uni course, double major in Marketing and PR. but right now my confidence level is really low.
i wished there were pills to take so that i can forget the past, forget some people, sleep without dreams, boost up my confidence level and make me well and healthy again. =) i wish...

I was doing my broadband network technology lab exercise until i gave up and went back. Today's lab session was a make up. since i went for all labs, i tried to do the last lab but i just couldn't get to the end. i got so fed up and left when my friends left too.
felt a little depressed cos i couldn't get the outcome larh.
on the way home, i started to think again. School to home is an hour's ride. enough to think till i feel totally depress. gawwd~
i began to think how lazy i have become over the days. Dunno if it's the medicine's effect or i was being plain lazy. And i get frequent headaches still. so it's kind of irritating. the moment i start to think or understand sth, the back of my head hurts. sigh. feel so lousy.

erh! now tat i have no income. i am broke. heh. got to be totally dependant on mummy. and i hate this feeling. i haven't had much restriction on my spending power till now, again. BUT! i made a deal with her and made sure i get my weekly allowance. and as bonus or rather a source of motivation to make me bathe as soon as i step home, mummy came up with tis policy.. if she calls my name once, and finds that i have not yet bathed, she deducts $1. otherwise.. $1 added~! wahahah.. i feel like a kiddo again. anyway, she nv did this when i was younger.

discover your talents
How do you figure out what you were meant to do? How do you know what you're really good at?
Most of us don't know. People are quick to point out our weaknesses and most of us in childhood and onwards were pushed toward shoring up our weaknesses rather than identifying our strengths and working on them. This neglect of our strengths makes us believe that they either aren't there or are too mediocre to mention.
Do you do something well, but because it comes so easily to you, you write it off as something everyone can do and no big deal? This happens all too often with talents. Talents are innate, and just because it comes naturally to you doesn't mean it does to everyone else.
Think about what you liked to do as a child. Reading? Writing? Teaching? Acting? Helping others? These are clues. Ask your parents what drove them nuts about you when you were little. What couldn't you help doing? Taking things apart, maybe? Or banging on things? What about an obsession with colouring things?
Think about what you like to do when you have a choice. What do you do in your spare time? Do other people tend to remark that it's a worthless hobby? Something that will not earn a decent living? Well, things of ways to make it your living! There is no skill that can't be put to good use.
What would you do even if you weren't paid to do it? You may already be doing it for free. One way to try out a talent is to do volunteer work where you get to use a new skill and see how it feels.
What activity do you 'get lost in'. You start doing it - like working on your car, or talking with someone about a pet topic - and four hours later when you come to, you realise you've missed your lunch and your 2 o'clock appointment. What absorbs you fully?
Take notice of what you learn quickly. You may be given an assignment at work and almost instantly excel at it. That's a sign that it's pulling on an innate talent.
Spending some time investigating your natural talents can pay off handsomely in the long run.
growing old with love and confidence
Does growing old scare you? Do you have a vision of homes for the elderly and worry that you might end up there, alone and helpless? Do you fear loss of control and being dependent on your children?
Those are all very "natural" questions most of us ask ourselves as we enter our middle age period. Maybe you're acquainted with nursing homes filled with people who are just like you think you will be. Maybe you are listening to others talk about their aches and pains and how it only gets worse.
But old age is not all about wasting away. Think about elderly folk you've encountered who are healthy and active, who look good and feel good. How can you also work towards a meaningful and vibrant old age?
If you're going to make your older years happy and fruitful ones, then you'd better start now. The average life expectancy of Singaporeans is 82. No matter what you thought in the past, chances are you're going to be around for a long time. So why not take control now so your coming years will be worth growing into?
Remember this: You grow into what you are thinking now. The more you imagine that your old age is doomed to be sickly and pointless, the less you're going to care about how to prevent it. As a result, you spend less time investing in relationships, tend to spend whatever you have, and are less inclined to save.
So get rid of that notion of elderly people wasting away in nursing homes. There are plenty of very productive older people out there living, being, making their dreams come true. They aren't saying "I wish I had died the minute I turned old".
Instead, think about the kind of person you want to grow into. How would you like to spend your final years?
Cultivate a skill that will a source of joy, and even better, also a source of income, as you grow older. Invest in your friendships. Your friends are likely to be the only ones who will grow old with you, and be able to relate to you and share memories with you in your later years. Invest in a savings plan. If you're averse to saving, just think of it as a monthly donation to charity - your charity. After all, you're going to need that money after retirement. Stay active and healthy. Take the time and effort to invest in a healthy diet and a fitness regime. It's amazing how these little things add up to create a happier and healthier old age. And cultivate a spirit of learning. The heart that continues to be curious will never grow old.

Friday night
Mummy and I picked up Stephanie from NUH then went to Clementi. We just wanted to show her ard. erm.. Steph is our Brunei friend. Mom then bought me Evening Primrose from GNC. er.. the pill is sOooOoo big! anyway, after jj met up with us, we went to Ka-soh to eat!! WoOoo.. yum yum. missed the food there..
arh.. Mom dropped us at Ikea to walk ard while she went to Church for the Tsunami Mass at Blessed Sarcrament Church. Afterwhich, we landed at Lido for Starbucks coffee. heh~
Saturday
Slept in till late morning. Then jj and i went to watch this Koren Movie.. "My Brother". Touching. nice! THUMBS UP!
Sunday
It was the usual Sunday Mass. Then had lunch with Michelle, mummy's god-daughter. We went to Fish and Co. wah~ 3 of us had seafood platter for 2 and couldn't finish. hehehehe...
Mom and I were planning to get my CNY clothes but nothing was suitable. Noticed i use suitable. cos when i find it nice, mummy says no. arghh.. gave up. so we headed home and before i knew it.. we were cleaning our house. Mummy said she only wanted to hang up the clothes in the washing machine but she did more than that. And I had to vacuum my room too. *gryns* It's clean clean and comfortable. lalalalala~
We intended to go Bugis but ended up in Orchard Road. Heh. Cos of Metro. Oh well, we had Marche for dinner. I tricked mummy into going but she loved the Rosti. Hehehe..
Erm.. the shopping trip ended at Toa Payoh. Laughs. We went to visit my 4th aunt to pass her some stuff. That's where I finally got myself sth. A black pants~! ha! finally. lalalalala~
Monday
it was school. then BBDC. Yay~! Clutch in, change gear 1, accelarate, change to gear 2, steer.. lalala~~ WoOohOoo.. can't wait for my second lesson. *giggles* before long it's vOOommmm vvVoOOoOOooM~ watch out instructors~ hehe. i am a dangerous driver. wHahhahaha.. kidding. eh.. the instructor asked me a question," Why don't you learn auto?" my reply," my mom's van is manual." hehehe.. now you know

i was at the doc's tgt with mummy and jacob. it was a Chinese doctor...
first he measured my pulses. next, asked me a few question. i told him tat i always feel giddy. and he measured my blood pressure. *shocked* normal person would be 108/75. eh.. mine was 80/65. bad. really bad. *giggles* no wonder i always feel giddy. lalalalala~ anyway, he gave me some medicine. each time i have to take 6 pills and 10ml of "juice".
oh well, got to take it for some time before getting the results.
eh.. aren't you happy? it's Friday again. and tmr's mummy's birthday.
nothing much happened this week. except doing projects... i tried out maple story. had dinner with jacob.. been getting weird dreams the last few nights.. had high tea with mummy and daddy today. *gryns*

eh.. my mood turned better after meeting jj just now. anyway, we had bbq sting ray and sambal kang kong for dinner. yuMmmmmyyy! the stall is located in S11, beside the hawker centre. it's rather inexpensive too, $11.60 for the both of us.. I love the taste of the sambal.
btw, i can't eat spicy food that well. hehe..
after tat, i bought durain for mummy. eh.. kena cheated $12 cos mummy said not nice. bOohOOooo.. eek! can't stand the smell of durain! NEXT time i will buy the 3 for $10 kind of packed durain.
