Feeling: cheeky, full, fat, moody, pain Playing: built to last by melee on class 95
Ah-huh! See what nonsense I do at work when it's a lazy Monday... I have my outlook at the back, with a resized-to-fit-and-away-from-most-people's-eyes firefox.
And then my new boss have to send me a corrupted file, and this happened to my screen. So huge larh!
Oh.. have you seen me recently? My teeth alignment is getting there~
Er.. side track. Something I found in my email.
Oh Oh.... Have you been listening to the radio? It's the jolly season. It's Christmas~ yeh!
p.s.: this post is so bor xim. Never even given much thought about it. I've a lot of things to do. Ha... I shall go back to work. lalalalalala~
Hm. it could be the lack of rest. Hm. it could be the morning talk I had with mother.
The talk led me to ponder...
What is the point of explaining to someone who has a bias impression of you? Therefore, never explain yourself to anyone. Look at it this way... The person who likes you doesn't need it, while the person who dislikes you won't listen to you.
Make sense?
That is why I often don't bother to explain myself to people if they already have such bias impression of me or the things I do. You can explain yourself till the cow comes home, the moon turn blue, the fairies die, the charcoal turns white, yet, the person still doesn't believe you. These people are already blinded, there's not much we can do to get them to see things our way. When the person is ready, the person will automatically believe without a single word spoken.
Make more sense?
This song... It's so meaningful. "Built to Last" by "Melee".
Part of the song said...
I've looked for love in stranger places but never found someone like you someone whose smile makes me feel i've been holding back and now there's nothing I can't do
cause this is real, and this is good it warms the inside just like it should but most of all most of all, it's built to last it's built to last
Plans to further their studies Plans to have a better future Plans to buy some particular item Plans to go out for a nice dinner Plans to get married Plans to go for a holiday Plans to win that girl’s/guy’s heart Plans to get more pocket money from your parents Plans to buy your dream car/house/mobile phone/designer bag/blah blah blah
Plans, plans, plans, plans.
How many plans have you carried out so far? How many plans were successful?
Has it ever occurred to you that after some much planning, you start to feel dejected because some plans you have planned for, are not going according to plan? Then in turn, you become depressed, because you start to blame yourself for not achieving what you have planned. And so, you start another plan; a plan to make yourself feel better. Ah huh! The cycle continues.
Life is all about planning. I remember a famous quote “No one plans to fail, but most fail to plan.” Or something like that, along those lines.
I have always been a planner, maybe even before I knew what a plan means, I already started planning.
‘Plan’, what we may also refer to as a dream, a hope, the future.
How many a times when you planned and the plan failed, or it didn’t quite go accordingly to what you want it to turn out to be?
I used to freak out, get angry, go crazy, throw a temper, or rather, in the not so nice way of putting it, I can’t accept the rejection/ failure. After all, I am (I was?) a perfectionist. I have this determination (read: stubbornness) to make sure things are done according to my way, otherwise, I will flip.
Failure, after failure, rejections, after rejections… Ah… Now, I would like to see them as part of my plans. If it’s not because of those failed plans, I won’t quite know that the plan isn’t working. Therefore, those failed plans are part and parcel of having my greater plan work out to be picture perfect, just like how photo-shop can work wonders.
So, what is my plan? My plan now is to study for my exam. My short-term plan, a very short-term plan since my papers start tomorrow at 3.30pm and it goes all the way till Thursday’s 11am. Three papers, in less than 24hours. Tell me, I am pretty screwed since I am still not quite getting serious with my books.
Then again, what my classmate always tell me, “You always know, it’s what you do. So why bother studying?”
Duh! If only I don’t always have to get the answers right in an exam, I don’t mind not studying and giving my own opinions of how it should be done according to the market reactions.
Someone once told me, “It is not the correct answers you give but the process of what you go through and the knowledge you gain from studying. So, ENJOY!”
Hm. I should start enjoying the process now.
Tuu-daa-doo… Taaaaa...
P.S.: why do I have so much to say whenever I am studying? So many other things comes into mind... duhhh....
I have been busy... 1. doing things 2. recovering from a cold (and getting rid of phlegm) 3. clearing shit at work (yes, the mess finally turned into shit) 4. picking up the pieces (in life) 5. trying to studying (for my trimester 2 exams) 6. sleeping (alone) 7. dating (the same person over and over again) 8. staying beautiful/pretty 9. catching up on everything else 10. chatting to a new found friend - EnEn
Of course, I wish life was more exciting and I am sure it will be better. :)
back to the topic. I have photos. See!
I took this shot when I was at paragon after tightening my braces for the second time. This is my favourite thing to do, sit at a cafe and do the things I do. ha.
On another night, while waiting for a friend to eat "tau-hui", I snapped. Quite random, hor?
There was a day, I went out with Hans, Zcube and AnDrew (See the three standing guys). I miss those times. We are busy people now, I wonder when we will get to meet again. hm.
Hans, I miss you.
Cousins and Aunt + Mummy. Tell me I blend well with them... They are at least four to eight years my juniors. *gryns* I have more cousins, but these are the ones whom I am closer to and love to take photos with. aw. I love those kids. Click to see bigger picture.
