new hair color
Feeling: in pain
Playing: class 95
I actually accumulated quite a few pictures that I want to post. But all unrelated topics. So, I will leave the rest to later in the week to blog about it. Ha!
First collection.
I got my hair colored and highlighted last Saturday. I sat on the chair for three and a half hours to get my hair damaged. Laughs. It seems like I am really paying people to cause me more damage. whattheheck. I become prettier after all that. *gryns*

I met Hans last week and we were testing our camera phones and settings. I was the object chosen for the test.

Then I realised, my highlights are coming out, so I have to take a photo to show you guys. It's ash green highlights.
Waddya think?
Maybe my shampoo isn't working too well for my hair. Time to hunt for shampoo again.

Being a cold and blue Monday (I wished I was still in bed), I have the perfect thing to cheer you up! I read a book and it states: Do something different. Be it silly or crazy. Just for the fun of it and laugh! (
Okay, I said that, not the book.)
So today, we will do a silly thing, which is to find a new name.
Continue reading if you are interested.Follow the instructions to find your new name.
The following is an excerpt from a children's book, "Captain Underpants and the Perilous Plot of Professor Poopypants" by Dav Pilkey: In it, the evil
Professor forces everyone to assume new names. Here's how...
Use the third letter of your first name to determine your new first name:
a = poopsie
b = lumpy
c = buttercup
d = gidget
e = crusty
f = greasy
g = fluffy
h = cheeseball
i = chim-chim
j = stinky
k = flunky
l = boobie
m = pinky
n = zippy
o = goober
p = doofus
q = slimy
r = loopy
s = snotty
t = tootie
u = dorkey
v = squeezit
w = oprah
x = skipper
y = dinky
z = zsa-zsa
Use the second letter of your last name to determine
the first half of your new last name:
* a = apple
* b = toilet
* c = giggle
* d = burger
* e = girdle
* f = barf
* g = lizard
* h = waffle
* i = cootie
* j = monkey
* k = potty
* l = liver
* m = banana
* n = rhino
* o = bubble
* p = hamster
* q = toad
* r = gizzard
* s = pizza
* t = gerbil
* u = chicken
* v = pickle
* w = chuckle
* x = tofu
* y = gorilla
* z = stinker
Use the fourth letter of your last name to determine the second half of
your new last name:
* a = head
* b = mouth
* c = face
* d = nose
* e = tush
* f = breath
* g = pants
* h = shorts
* i = lips
* j = honker
* k = butt
* l = brain
* m = tushie
* n = chunks
* o = hiney
* p = biscuits
* q = toes
* r = buns
* s = fanny
* t = sniffer
* u = sprinkles
* v = kisser
* w = squirt
* x = humperdinck
* y = brains
* z = juice
Thus, for example, Sharon Soon's new name is Poopsie Bubblechunks.
Taadaa! A new name!
Hm.. I kinda like my new name. Poopsie!Have a brighter blue day! *grins*
P.S.: This entry exist because of Serene, so... Thankiew Serene for the email. Laughs!
separators, pre-molars, pliers, pain
Feeling: uncomfortable
Playing: class 95
Remember my Economics supplementary paper, which I was supposed to take on Wednesday morning? Yes, it is over! The only problem is I do not know when will the results be released. Economics is tough; I share a love-hate “relationship” with the subject itself. I love the content and its usefulness but I hate taking the exam. Maybe if I had more time to understand it, I would actually love-love the subject.
Erm. I was actually talking nonsense again. I didn’t know how to start off my story about what happened to me and had to get Pepper to come tell you guys… Now that I think I know how, I will continue…
On Wednesday, after my paper, I visited Dr Lo, my orthodontist at Ho Kee Hai & Partners (HKH). Yes, my dentist-surgeon, Prof Ho, and orthodontist are in the same place. “fei hua” (directly translates to “rubbish words”)
That was the second consultation with Dr Lo and it cost me three hundred Singapore buckaroos this time round because of the following…
1. New mould-cast of my mouth/teeth
2. Another x-ray of my head (bone structure)
3. Six separators to make gaps for my “crowns”
4. Two pre-molar tooth extractions
5. Removal of my previous wisdom tooth extraction stitches
I think I am a nutcase. I am actually paying professionals to make me feel pain and uncomfortable. Am I sick or am I sick? Tell me, please.
Firstly, I can’t eat properly because I cannot chew my food or bite anything hard, thus, making me hungry and leaving my stomach feeling empty. I predict gastric coming soon.
Next, my gums hurts because I have separators in between my molars, it is taking effect and right now my teeth are shifting causing me consistent-uncomfortable pain.
Then, my two pre-molars are still bleeding slightly. I woke up with bloodstain on my tongue. I fee like a vampire drinking my own blood. *pukes*
Finally, the thought of having to remove another one pre-molar and one molar next Wednesday is making me feel sick. Every time I pull out a tooth, I get slight feverish, I become very moody and grumpy and I don’t feel like talking, as though Prof Ho pulled out more than just my tooth.
Nonetheless, I enjoy every moment of my visit to HKH. There are so many things to see and questions to ask. Before you conclude that I am turning nutcase, I can explain. The practitioners are actually humorous and nice.
For example; Dr Lo, the orthodontist.
Dr Lo: I will be putting in the separators in so that it will create space for me to put the crowns in next week.
Me: How thick are these things?
Dr Lo: Thick enough. *shows it to me*
Me: Hur?! So small?! What if it drops out?
Dr Lo: Come back to me, I will put them in for you again.
Me: What if it drops out and I don’t know and I swallow it?
Dr Lo: Anything I put in your mouth can be swallowed.
Me: er.. really? *doubtful*
Dr Lo: Anyway, what goes into your mouth will come out from the other side.
LAUGHS!!!!
My goodness, is it just my dumb questions or Dr Lo is a funny person himself.
Another conversation with Dr Lo, Nurse and Prof Ho.
Dr Lo: Okay, so are you clear as to which teeth we will be extracting? Can you tell Prof Ho later? He will do it for you.
Me: LATER?! Like you mean, today, later when I see him for my appointment?
Dr Lo: Or do you want to come back another day?
Me: Er.. no. Just do it larh!
Nurse: Sharon…. Prof Ho is ready. Come, let’s go to his room.
Me: HUR?! So fast?!
Nurse: No worries, don’t be scared. It’s going to be very fast and very little pain involved.
Me: *whispers* bluff. The injection very painful one.
*Carries bag and walks to next room*
Prof Ho: Hello. How are you? Come.. sit down.
Me: Hello, Prof. I have to pull two pre-molars out today.
Prof Ho: Haha… I know. Don’t worry. Do you know which ones?
Me: Yes. *points*
Prof Ho: Are you sure? Once I pull out, it is irreversible.
Me: Confirm!
Prof Ho: Alright, I will numb you with this cream first. I know it taste bad.
Me: Okay larh, got strawberry taste.
Prof Ho: Then I will inject you.
Me: Okay, that is painful.
Prof Ho: Well, remember if it is very painful, lift up your right hand.
FAINTED. It took Prof Ho less than 20 minutes to settle my two pre-molars. He’s good but my upper right molar is better! Prof had to use two different kinds of pliers to yank it out.
Anyway, I allowed them to take photos of me and let them use me as a case study for their future students. I wanted to take photos of what happened but I placed Scratch in my bag so no photos. I promise, next time. Next Wednesday!

Instead of studying for my Economics paper, working hard and making full use of my second chance, I am here blogging. I ought to be shot dead, at times, for my lack of discipline to concentrate on a subject which I am not interested in. Shame on me, really.
Then again, this is me. No one can really force me to do what I do not like to do. The consequences I face, are terrible most of the times. For example: I might fail this supplementary paper and have to redo the whole unit and pay another six-hundred-eighty Aussie buckaroos, which is really unnecessary if I had listen to everyone else and studied harder. Tsk.Tsk. Studying for Economics is like forcing poison down my throat, if have to give you an analogy. Laughs!
Btw, I am typing in on MS Words because I have no internet connection, due to the change in power boxes and rewiring in progress now. This is another stupid matter. My mother forgot to inform me that work will be in progress today from 9am to 5pm. I wanted to head out to study, but I was lucky enough to get cramps, so I decided to just study in the kitchen where natural lighting and wind is provided abundantly.
Thank goodness, Pearl runs on battery, Scratch is still surviving on the two bars left and Nano is charged to provide me with music.
That is beside the point of why I am blogging. Here is the main idea.
I had this conversation with my friend a few days back when my PMS was at its peak and I felt like the whole world is against me, leaving me with totally no mood and no interest in anything.
Me : I wish I could restart and everything will be changed.
Friend : Really? What do you want to change?
Me : Er… Change how I decide on certain things.
Friend : But things that have happened in the past make you who you are today. You sure you want to change that?
I cannot be any more grateful to this friend of mine. He is simply incredible when it comes to knocking sense into me. I think he’s a wizard in disguise. *grins*
I told my friend how silly and dumb I felt the last few weeks. I feel ashamed for entertaining the thoughts of my ex-boyfriend wanting to get back with me, even after he slap those words right into my face where he stated loud and clear that he wishes to not see me again. Somehow the way he treated me, made me feel like I was a stalker not wanting to let him go.
I have to say, I admire him for sticking by his decision and being so firm. Had it not been his determination to stick by his decisions, I don’t think I can get through this any quicker. And so I conclude, he still has a heart and cares for me (in another way). Laughs!
Every relationship is an experience, and if I don’t learn anything out of it, it will be a wasted one. Thankfully, this is not the case. I learnt more than what I expected. Not necessary through him, it is because of him that I found certain qualities in myself which I never thought I possess.
I don’t necessarily need someone to sweep me off my feet to make me feel better because that is the last thing I need right now. Ask me about how I feel towards falling in love, I have become a skeptic. I just need to know what I want in life and work towards it. I am responsible for my own happiness.
I guess when things are at its lowest, it will have to bounce back up. And the time has come for me to bounce back up and stay there for as long as I can.
Hey Kris, good luck in your new career path. I hope you are happier because I am. I will definitely be able to lead a better life. For the record, the only “silly thing” I did was most probably not letting you go earlier. And I didn’t hate you, the fact was I hated myself more and I admit I was at fault to have placed the last straw on the camel’s back. I hope you are feeling less guilty now, because those weren’t my intentions.
I am on a step-by-step program to find my hidden qualities. I feel like the luckiest girl alive because I have very very very very very very very supportive people around me.
OH! The electricity is back! I am happier than 5 minutes ago! Time to transfer this onto blogger.
Club Street uncovered
Feeling: emo and empty

Hans and I were out at Club Street last Thursday. It was refreshing to get to know Singapore in its most unique and quiet corners.
Hans, we should go explore more! But when I am not feeling so sick. *grins*
I was probably feeling sick because I knew I had to re-take one of my papers, Economics. Tell me how boring can it get?
My results weren't fantastic but I think it is good enough. Here's a review *enters grumbling mode*
to remind myself how screwed up I can get when I hate a module so much...
For Trimester 3A in 2006, I took;
*Accounting - Distinction
*Consumer Behaviour - Pass
For Trimester 1A in 2007, I took;
*Economics - Supp Paper
*Marketing - Pass
*Public Relations Principles - Distinction
The bad news is I spent the weekend trying to motivate myself to study but failed. Now I am panicking and I have to take two days leave to study. I better "chiong" like a "seow char bor" and get that self-motivated me back before I do more harm to myself.
Ever felt like an empty vessel sometimes? I do now, like everything coming out of my mouth isn't making sense to myself even. Gawd.. This is torture. It feels like I am living in someone else's body.
Help?Nonetheless, life is still great. HA!

I met some people yesterday who made me feel better after feeling all lousy over the break up (still). The babe and I decided to take some photos. *gryns* I can't decide which is the nicest, so I am putting up all three that we took.
I shan't disclose their identities. I will just call them the "higher" people. LOL!
(Babe didn't like the outcome from her phone, she likes mine better. Anyway, here's a comparison at the same time of our photos.)

Thank you for being there for me. :)
twenty-second birthday celebration
Feeling: happy, pain
Playing: Everytime by Britney Spears
Before telling you about my wonderful twenty-second birthday celebration, i have to tell you something.
I am really going to have braces soon. By second week of August, I should have it up. :D COLOURED some more. Kekeke... Today I went to extract one more tooth, so it's 5 days MC for me again. Back to work only on Monday. Yippie.
I had my first consultation with the orthodontist, Dr Lo, today, after my surgery. He said I have to go for another x-ray, do another moulding and something else before he decides which teeth to pull out to make space. He estimated about four more to pull out. *claps* I will have lesser tooth than you people leh! *faints*
Anyway, the whole event would cost me five thousand buckroos. Now, I have to go find money. :/
Now... Are you ready? I have fifty-ish photos to show you guys. So, it's gonna be a long entry. Hang in there kae.

Started off with my colleagues. How it happened? Jane came to me and asked me to go get water with her, I kinda hesitated cos work was piling up but went with her anyway, when I got to the pantry, I had a surprise!
(I haven't asked my other colleague for the pictures. I will show you guys when I have it)

Then I met
Prince Charming, Thong, for a snack at Central, one of the Jap Restaurant. *giggles* No pictures of us yet, will put it up when I get it. Who is Thong? Hm... Stay tune to find out. *laughs* btw, he took this photo with my cybershot. Very nice, hor? I meant, the way he took it. He got skill leh.

My Uni classmates. *gryns* It was just a gathering at Merchant Court. Theme was Retro. That explains my outfit.
After all the dinner and all, I headed to Sentosa. Siloso Beach Resort. *gryns* I am a lucky girl, hor?

Before I was with them. This was what they did. In preparation and all at the same time. :D

This was how QQ, RyRy and Hans killed time. Watch Tennis.
When I arrived at Beach Station in Sentosa, Hans came to pick me up while QQ and RyRy prepared the surprise. We walked to our resort. When I entered, they presented me with a small little Mango Yoghurt "cake".

Sang me a birthday song, made me make a wish, blow out the candle and "cut the cake".
Just when I was about to share my "cake", Hans took out another REAL Chocolate cake (from Corduroy Cafe).

The whole process started again. Sang the birthday song, made a wish, blow out candle, cut the cake and more photo-taking.

The cake was so nice...

Hans had to kill RyRy so that he can have more... *gryns*
*RANDOM PICS*

Hans was trying to be funny and I entertained him. LOL.

Hans bought us T-shirt from his recent Taiwan trip. We are happy people.

I was the happiest! Cos I have one more present on top of my stay at Siloso Beach Resort. Hans got me a new wallet, knowing that mine is spoilt.
QQ took a vid of me opening the present.
After being all happy and high, we walked over to Cafe Del Mar for some drinks.

QQ & Ms Soon.
We are besties, you know?
ti-ko RyRy.
Btw, RyRy and QQ are a couple. LOL!
Inside Cafe Del Mar. I would love to go there again, in the day to chill. It's pretty cool.
After having out beers, we went back to our resort's rooftop to take pictures.

Okay, we reaslied it was too dark for any thing... so, we went back to the room.

I bathed and changed!

And had a big bag of chips, couldn't finish, so Hans & Ry thought of keeping it air-tight with a safe. LOL.
Then we slept!
The next day. I was the first to wake up but didn't dare to move cos the rest was sleeping so soundly. By 10ish, i couldn't take it. I had to wake up...

This is the view from my room, directly opposite cafe del mar.

Sleepy pigs, except Ry cos he was making breakfast for us. :D

Checking out... had to take a photo of us with the "view".
More photos of the inside view...

Saying "bye-bye".
QQ and RyRy parted with Hans and I. They didn't want to tan but I want.

On our way to Tanjong Beach, on the tram.

At KM8 Cafe.
Hans and I were there from 12ish to 5ish. Imagine how burnt I got.

Back to Siloso for dinner.

After dinner, we had to kill at least 1.5hrs of time cos we wanted to watch "Songs of the Sea" at 8.40pm. So we ended in some air con restaurant again. LOL!
Then I got bored of the place. So we decided to take the tram up and down and up and down till we got tired and ended up near where we were supposed to be for the show. So it's more photos....

Tho dark, I am sure you can see how burnt I am.

Trying to create nice pictures with my cybershot T7.
Then the batt died. So no songs of the seas photos. *gryns*
And this is the end of my entry, this entry took me more than three hours. LOL.
