I have been made the admin girl for the week.
I spent my Monday sorting out the invoices and all the shipping documents and chasing invoices from my vendor.
I spent my Tuesday trying to figure out which account I should charge the invoices to.
I spent my Wednesday doing an excel sheet for my accounts department so that they will not anyohow charge my expenses.
I will be spending my Thursday doing invoices and any other paperwork-business so that the semester closing will run smoothly.
To prove how boring admin work can get, I did that collage (credits to gettyimages.com).
I must also admit that I have been lazy and unproductive, otherwise, I won't have to take such a long time to complete what I have to. I have been Internet-surfing, just like what I am doing now. This is a bad example. Do not follow. If you are reading this during your working hours, you are equally bad. So close the explorer and get cracking cause this is the end of my entry. *laughs*

Two year from now, I will be a qualified marketer with a promising career. Right now, I will always have God in my life who blesses me abundantly with good health, a lovely family and social life.
I am fuming mad, I can't complete my work cos I didn't concentrate, I need to leave the office now becos I am angry, but the good point out of all these is... I AM STILL ALIVE!

I woke up this morning forgetting how I was trying to grasp for air last night.
I got to the office, sat at my desk in complete daze for a whole two hours. I was lost in my own world with the amount of emails I received and have to attend to. I am breathless again. My appetite went away. My mood deteriorated. My mind blank. I was back in a daze.
I need more time. I need to be more hardworking.
3 PR assignments due on the 12 Sept. Afterwhich, every week I have to submit 1 assignment 1 Marketing Communications Presentation due on the 20 Sept. 1 Retail Marketing Presentation due on the 1 Oct. 1 Marketing Communications test on 15 Sept. 1 Retail Marketing test on 29 Sept.
I don't even want to talk about work... I need 5 of me to do my job now. 1 for sales. 1 for events management. 1 for ad and promo. 1 for product marketing. 1 for admin.
This trimester 2 and FY07A semester is tight and stressful.

Anyway... Last Wednesday, after a meeting at Bukit Pasoh, I walked down to Chinatown. It was a weird experience. I hardly get to knock off before six but that evening, I decided to not go back to the office and take a walk. So from Bukit Pasoh, I walked all the way down to Central. ha!
And today, my family celebrated my auntie's birthday...

Jude (partner, classmate) and I headed to the front and did the following…
Jude: Welcome to the Tonight’s Show with Jude. Today we have a special guest all the way from the West side of Singapore, and she’s Sharon.
*claps*
Me: Hello everyone. Hello Jude. Thank you.
Jude: Sharon, can you tell us the course of your study?
Me: I major in Marketing and Public Relations at MIS with Curtin University.
Jude: Alright, so tell us a little more about yourself. What magazines or newspapers do you read?
Me: I try to read the straits times, I try to read Cleo magazines, I try to read Her World magazines, I try to read Cnetasia.com, I try to read a little of everything.
Jude: So you TRY to read but you don’t exactly read.
Me: Er… Yes. I try. I am being honest.
*everyone laughs*
Jude: Okay, that’s good. So what is your ideal job after you graduate?
Me: To be a marketing manager in a MNC.
Jude: MNC. I see…. *pauses* Now, the most important question. Tell us something amazing about yourself.
Me: I have many amazing things about me but I guess the most amazing thing which happened to me this week is… I bought four different kinds of shampoo after work one day.
Jude: Four?! Wow. Do you have four heads?
Me: No? Just one. *laughs* impulse buy.
Jude: okay, that’s all we have for the tonight show. Thank you everyone.

Today, I have five different types. I like this idea. nods nods... And I was just indecisive that evening. period.
Monday to Friday is work and classes time. While I make it a point that Saturday and Sunday, will be spent on my assignments, with my family, in church, doing what I cannot do on weekends, basically it's my alone time.
Yesterday, I was lucky enough to join my agency for the new tv commercial voice over recording and some online editing. It stretched quite a bit till eight.
I had planned earlier to meet one of my friends who works around the area I was in, so when I was done, I went over to his office to look for him.
It was the second time I have been up to his office, I like it there. I should go bug him more often in his office when I can and if he allows. *gryns*
Next time, I will bring Pearl and her power adpater out, then I can do my work in his office. Laughs!
